As New Zealand's most awarded coffee roastery, Hawthorne is something of a Hawke's Bay treasure. Owner Tom Ormond enlisted my help in refreshing Hawthorne's 14-year-old visual identity, interior, website and packaging. The brief was wide open, but the solutions needed to communicate the quality and history of Hawthorne Coffee.
