When Chardonnay guru Tony Bish revealed his plan for a series of wines fermented in egg-shaped barrels, I got excited. The 'Golden Egg' wines would be made in batches specific to particular vineyard blocks, meaning that each batch would have its own unique character. In order to distinguish the different batches within the series, I created a range of golden eggs, each representing a different vineyard.
